What Got it all Started
Well back in May of 2004 I went into Tri State Cycle Exhange by my house just to browse their inventory and check out all their dirtbikes and quads. I went back by the shop and noticed a purple single seater go-kart in the worst condition. I told my dad "look over there", he looked and said "lets look at it closer". It turned out to be a Manco Dingo in really bad condition, and I mean bad. Seat torn, worn tires, rust, chipped paint, and torn foam. But I saw past all that and wanted to buy it and fix it up. We asked how fast it might go and the man thought 15mph...and I said "nope I dont want it anymore". But then I got thinking...I'm sure I can make it go faster, so I bought it. I fixed it up into probably the best looking Manco Dingo out there! Ever since then, go-karts and buggies have fascinated me and there are my biggest and most expensive hobby. |

My First BUGGY!
I started to think about getting a real BUGGY, one that had 2 seats, big engine, and full suspension when my friend told me he was getting a Carter Talon back in the summer of 2006. So that got me wanting one real badly. I looked around on the internet for one in my price range, but all the ones I found were the crappy SunL's I hear so much bad stuff about. So again, I went back the Tri State Cycle Exhange and looked at their Twister Hammerheads. My brother went with me and we were looking at the Twister Hammerhead Standard. But without question it wasnt in my price range, nor was it a color I wanted, red. So I noticed a blue, the color I was hoping for, Twister Hammerhead Junior. I sat in it and I liked it. So we went home and told my dad about it. The next day, my dad and I went back and looked at the buggys again. He told me that the standard wasnt in my price range and I wouldnt be able to get it. We mainly focused on the Junior. So we went into the store owner's office and talked about some prices. I got bored listening to the numbers so I went out and just sat in the Junior thinking "what if I got this". The next thing I know my dad came out of the office, asked if I fit in the Junior, I said "yes", and he said "ok, its all yours now". I flipped out! Ever since then I have been inlove with my Junior and the modding process that comes along with it.
